My Counselling & Coaching Approach

There’s no one-size-fits-all.

My practice is trauma-informed, client-centred, and neurodiversity-affirming — meaning I respect and support the many ways people think, feel, and experience the world. My work is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a belief in your capacity for growth.

Therapeutic approaches in counselling & neurodiversity coaching

Together, we’ll explore what feels most helpful for you at your pace. I draw on a range of approaches, including:

  • Person-centred, humanistic approaches

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Systems and existential thinking

  • Strengths-based and growth-focused work

  • Somatic tools such as grounding and breathwork

What guides my work

The values at the heart of my work are:

Compassion – bringing light to what has been hidden or judged.

Resilience – helping you access and strengthen your inner resources.

Connection - to yourself and to others important to you.

Awareness – of the mind-body connection.

Purpose – our work has meaning and direction, guided by your goals.

Cross-cultural insight, shaped by lived experience

I’m British-Swiss and work primarily in English, with additional skills in:

  • B2 Level German (upper-intermediate)

  • British Sign Language (introductory level)

I am able to work with German-speaking clients, while noting that I am not a native speaker. Having lived across cultures for 20+ years, I bring cultural sensitivity and respect for identity, transition, and belonging.

What to expect:

  • Free 20-minute consultation to explore your needs

  • 1–2 intake sessions to understand your history and goals

  • Counselling — typically weekly or biweekly, with regular reviews

  • Always tailored to you — we’ll move at your pace and adapt as needed

Sessions are 50 minutes and available in Zurich or online. I offer both short- and long-term support depending on your needs.

Your privacy and well-being are my priority. I work under the ethical guidelines of the Swiss, American, and British counselling bodies - SGfB, ACA, and BACP - with regular professional supervision.
