About Me

Warm, grounded support — shaped by both training and lived experience.

Areas of experience in counselling & neurodiversity coaching

For the moments that feel too heavy to carry alone.

Welcome! I’m Jane Woodward, a qualified Psychological Counsellor and ADHD/Neurodiversity Coach based in Zurich. My style is warm, intuitive, and collaborative – shaped by diverse experience in counselling, clinical audiology, research, corporate work, and 20 years of parenting and making a home in Switzerland. These perspectives help me connect with clients navigating:

  • Overwhelm, emotional wounds and distress

  • Grief, loss, or identity shifts

  • Cultural transitions and relocation

  • Neurodivergence in a neurotypical world

  • Parenting and schooling challenges

  • Hearing loss and other invisible differences

Many people come to counselling or coaching feeling unseen or unheard. My goal is to offer a calm, compassionate space where you feel understood — sometimes for the first time.

Counsellor by profession, human by nature.

I’ve lived in Switzerland for over 20 years with my husband, our three teenagers, and our loyal rescue dog — who continue to teach me patience, resilience, humour, and flexibility. Like all families, ours comes with its own mix of gifts and challenges, and I bring that real-life understanding into my work.

I feel most grounded in nature — hiking with my family and friends, walking our dog through the forest and vineyards, or swimming in Lake Zurich. I also enjoy Pilates, singing in a local choir, being with loved ones, and dancing even when no one is watching.
